1. What is Omega-3 and why do I need it?
   Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that support heart, brain, eye, joint, and skin health. Since the human body can’t produce them, supplementation helps maintain optimal wellness.
   
2. What is the source of the Omega-3 in your products?
   Our Omega-3 is derived from sardines. It is purified through molecular distillation and tested for heavy metals and contaminants.
   
3. Do the softgels have a fishy aftertaste or burps?
   We use advanced processing and odor-control technology to minimize fishy burps. However, a mild taste may still occur in some individuals.
   
4. How much EPA and DHA is there per softgel of your Omega-3 supplement?
   Each serving of our Omega-3 supplement contains 2 softgels, delivering a total of 900 mg EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and 600 mg DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). This means each softgel provides 450 mg of EPA and 300 mg of DHA, making it a potent and concentrated source of essential omega-3 fatty acids.
   
5. Why do the softgels sometimes have a fishy smell?
   A mild fishy smell is normal due to the natural properties of fish oil, especially when converting it into softgel form. However, it does not indicate spoilage or rancidity.
6. Is your Omega-3 rancid or oxidized?
   Absolutely not. All batches undergo strict quality and oxidation testing before release. We do not sell rancid products under any circumstances.
   
7. Is your Omega-3 tested for purity and safety?
   Yes, each batch is tested for epa, dha, heavy metals, and oxidative stability to ensure premium quality and safety.
   
8. How should I store Omega-3 softgels?
   Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
   
9. What is the daily dosage?
   Recommended dose is typically 1–2 servings daily with meals, unless advised otherwise by your healthcare provider.
   
10. Are your softgels vegetarian or vegan?
    No, our Omega-3 is fish-derived and the softgel capsule contains gelatin.
    
11. Do you accept returns for odor or taste concerns?
    Since a natural fish smell is expected and does not indicate a defect, we do not accept returns for such cases. However, if you experience any genuine product issues, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Our support team will assist you based on the issue and product condition.
    
12. Can fish oil cause stomach upset?
    While fish oil is generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience mild digestive discomfort such as nausea, bloating, or a fishy aftertaste. To help minimize stomach upset, it is recommended to take fish oil with meals. If sensitivity continues, consider reducing the dose or switching to a triglyceride-form fish oil, which is often gentler on the digestive system.
    
13. Why are parabens used in softgels?
    Methyl Paraben (0.2%) and Propyl Paraben (0.02%) are used in the softgel shell as preservatives to help maintain product stability, freshness, and quality throughout shelf life by preventing microbial growth.
    
14. Why are P-Anisidine and TOTOX values not applicable to flavoured fish oils?
    Flavouring ingredients (such as lemon flavour) can interfere with these tests and affect the reported values. Therefore, P-Anisidine and TOTOX are not considered reliable quality indicators for flavoured fish oils. The base fish oil used meets applicable Codex and GOED standards.
    
15. Why is flavour added to fish oil?
    Flavour is added to help reduce the natural aroma of fish oil and suppress fishy burps, making the product more pleasant to consume.
    
16. Can fish oil softgels become oxidized or rancid?
    Fish oil is naturally sensitive to oxidation when exposed to oxygen, light, heat, and moisture. Softgels help protect the oil by sealing it within a capsule, reducing exposure to these factors and helping maintain freshness and stability. Additionally, Vitamin E is added as an antioxidant to help protect the oil from oxidation. When stored as directed and consumed within its shelf life, fish oil softgels are designed to maintain their quality and freshness throughout the product's shelf life.
    
17. Is the fish oil certified by independent organizations such as IFOS, NSF, USP, or IVO?
    No. These certifications are provided by independent international organizations and are not required under Indian regulatory requirements. However, the base fish oil used in our product complies with the GOED Monograph and applicable GOED quality standards.
